Thoughts on the Courtney Moore Movie Trailer.
I watched it and it definitely looks interesting. I'd love it if American Girl made a doll stop motion full length film, especially since no movies with actual humans can be filmed right now. Doing a doll stop motion would only require the human's voice.
I also think doing a stop motion would inspire people who watch it to get into doll stop motion. I know it's hard and time consuming but a project that takes a lot of time is great right now.
You can watch the trailer here.
I just hope it isn't an Amazon Prime only one and made so many people can watch it.

Thoughts on the new American Girl Historical Character: Courtney Moore.
American Girl's newest Historical character Courtney Moore came out this week. You can purchase her online right now and you'll find her in stores later this month.
The doll sells for $110 as just the doll & book, $140 with the accessories set, or $249 if you want more of the sets (Care Bears Sleeping Bag, Care Bears Pajamas, Lunch Set, T-shirt and Tank set, Leggings set and her Cardigan).
The doll has blue eyes, sandy-blonde hair, and is the Classic? (Not sure on names yet.) Face Mold. She comes in a light blue crop top with the words Totally Cool on it over a light purple tank top, a high waisted acid washed denim skirt, hot pink leggings, white faux-leather shrunched top pointed toe boots, and a hot pink scrunchie.
Her accessories set includes a cassette player, cassette tape that works with the boombox in the sleepover accessory set, cassette tape holder, headphones, four plastic bangle bracelets, a tube of pretend lip balm on a string, and a plastic button that says "Maureen for Mayor" to show support for her mom.
I am sure a lot of people will be enjoying the mini Pac-Man Arcade. It is currently for Pre-Order for $149.99.
Her bedroom set is a bunk bed. It sells for $225. It has pink metal rails and a printed wall at the bottom bunk. There's shelves on the side and a place to hang clothes too. It has rainbow pillows and comforters for both bunks, and a Pac Man Pillow. It also includes some smaller accessories such as a potted plant, a telephone, books, book-ends, a diary, a calendar and a set of stickers of music and movie posters to decorate it.
The release came with two adorable Care Bears sets: Pajamas and a Sleeping bag.
The pajama set $28 is a Care Bears Nightie, A matching light blue scrunchie and light blue fuzzy socks.
The Sleeping bag set $36 includes a Care Bears Sleeping Bag, matching pillow and a mini stuffed Care Bear.
There's a Sleepover Accessory set $50 that includes a working boombox (the cassette tape that comes in her acessories set works with it), four cassette tapes with cases, two cans of fruit punch with straws, a bowl of tortilla chips, a cootie catcher and a friends book.
There's also a Caboodles make-up & hair accessories set $36. It includes a Caboodles makeup case, pretend hair spray can, white hair pick, blue and pink scrunchies, green plastic banana hairclip, pink lace bow, pretend make-up compact and brush, and four sheets of nail stickers.
Two school themed sets came along as well. A Lunch Set and School Supplies Set
The School Supplies Set $30 looks like it's definitely inspired by Lisa Frank. It includes a binder, two folders, 20 sheets of lined paper, puffy stickers, pink pencil box, three pencils and three erasers shaped like a cat, a dog and a rhino.
The Lunch Set $25 includes a Pac Man Lunchbox and matching insulated container, a bologna and cheese sandwich cut in two, apple slices, a container of cheese puffs and a brownie with sprinkles.
The item that I think everyone is the most excited about is the mini Pleasant Company Molly Doll.
The Pleasant Company Doll $30 includes a mini Molly McIntire doll in a Pleasant Company box, a mini Pleasant Company Christmas catalog, and a mini Meet Molly book.
Courtney's other clothes come in Mix and Match; each piece sold separately. The options are:
An acid washed Denim Jacket $18
Hot Pink Cropped Jacket $12
Colorful Patterned Cardigan $18
A Splatter Print Dress $18
Tropical Patterned Shirt and Purple Tie $16
80s Graphic T-shirt and Green Tank Top $16
Acid Washed Jeans $16
Purple Lace and Light Blue Leggings $16
Purple Skirt and Hot Pink Suspenders $16
White High Top Sneakers with hot pink laces $16
Hot Pink Flats and Light Blue Socks $12
A colorful Belt Bag and Watch $16
Hot Pink Sunglasses $10
Fashion Accessories $16 includes a hot pink lace bow headband, two sets of earrings (pink and green posts with green triangle dangles and pink star dangles), a green scrunchie and purple lace fingerless gloves.
I would really like to purchase the Care Bears pajamas and sleeping bag, and some of her mix and match clothes. And maybe the miniature Molly doll. Only time will tell.
I hope to DIY some of the stuff though so stay tuned!

Lily Reviews: Charm Boots Craft Kit
We recently got the American Girl Charm Boots Craft Kit for Christmas. Well, here's our review...
Ratings - 1 to 5 stars. 1 is bad, 5 is good.
Difficulty: ★
The kit required a lot of getting the needle through the charn without, oh no, losing the thread out of the needle. It also required the ability to tie a square knotknot. And making tassels.
Quality: ★
The elastic on the boots barely stretches enough to get the button through. We had to use some of our own thread because we ran out because the knots didn't stay and we had to redo them.
Also, the needle threader broke.
Fun play - wise: ★★★
As soon as the charms are added they are really cute boots.
Would we recommend it?
Well, unless you want a LOT of work, then no. I'm certain the Charm Flats aren't any different.
Signing off!
Lily Reviews: GOTY 2019 Blaire Wilson
Lily Anna ~ Ellie ~ The Human
*A Note from the Human: We have yet to purchase any of Blaire's collection. This is merely our opinions from what we've seen in videos and the AG website. We may update with a new post if we do get any of it.*
Hey everyone, Lily Anna here with my first post of Lily Reviews. I've always wanted to be a newspaper reporter just like Kit Kittredge. She's a big inspiration to me and I hope to get a doll of her the future.
*Note from The Human: Mini doll, not the actual doll!*
You're OBSESSED with Kit, Lily.
Can I just start the review, without distractions, please, Ellie? Go read your Grace book or something. I'm trying to review Blaire's collection!
Can I do some input on her fashion? Pleeeeeeease?
Okay, fine! Let's begin. We shall start with the small stuff.
First we have Blaire's piglet and lamb. The piglet retails at $20 and the lamb for $25.
I think the piglet is really cute. Being a farm girl at heart I'd love a pet pig.
But pigs are SO messy! They roll in MUD, Lily! We don't need muddy footprints in our room, Lily!
We do already have two dogs with muddy paws...
Cheri does not have muddy paws! Tiny is your dog, your muddy paw problem.
*Sighs* Ellie, chill. You're job is to comment on Blaire's fashion, not how messy animals are.
Now then, let's continue.
Ah, yes, the lamb. Can't forget the lamb. It's name is Penelope. It's really cute I guess but I think the piglet could be cuter...
Okay, seriously, if you had to chose just ONE, which would it be?
The piglet, obviously! It's $5 cheaper and super cute.
Now then, let's move on to...
Blaire's Garden Set. Honestly, I think $50 is a little pricey for what comes in it. But the Silkie Chicken, Dandelion (Dandy for short) is so cute! Plus it has a removable nesting box, a nest, and eggs! The only other stuff is six plants to plant: Basil, Chives, Dill, Lavender, Primroses and Marigolds; Six plant markers, the planter box, a shovel and a watering can, and a basket.
I hate gardening, it's SO messy! But at the same time I love primroses and lavender and marigolds!
Next up is Blaire's accessories. This is definitely on our, err, Ellie's wishlist. It retails at $30 but we'll be keeping an eye out for a sale first!
Yes! I'd love to have this! It's fabulous! The canvas tote is super cute and I'd carry all the stuff in it! The light pink tablet is definitely a must have. It comes with 2 double sided screens showing the Pleasant Valley Farms website, a recipes website, a Pinterest type website to look up party ideas and the home page. Then theres a cute pink clipboard to hold a party planning notebook and stickers for the mood board. I love planning parties so I would love this! There's also a matching pink calligraphy pen, a Pleasant Valley Farms postcard, and a bouquet of lavender!
Thanks for taking over that one, Ellie. *sarcasm*
We've finally made it to Blaire's fashion...
First up is the In Bloom Pajamas, which which retail for $24.
I love the shad shade of purple these are! And the pattern on the shorts are fabulous! Plus, it comes with purple pom pom slippers! Definitely a must-have!
Next is Blaire's Bridesmaid Dress which retails at $36.
Somewhat pricey but super cute! The pale blue is gorgeous and lace is totally IN! The outfit comes with a pink flowered headband, a velvet choker necklace, and bedazzled flats!
Now we have the Floral Flair Outfit, which retails at $28.
This is one of the ugliest outfits I've seen. The light orange zigzag headband and sandals are cute, and the purple leggings are OK, but the tunic shirt?
Just bows - Go ahead.
Just buttons? - Ok.
Bows AND Buttons? - Never! N-E-V-E-R E-V-E-R!
Alright, calm down Ellie and let's move on to the Gardening Outfit. It retails for $32.
Pricey but cute! The shirt would look great with anything! The overalls? Totally IN! The green rain boots and green choker necklace really look great too!
Next we have the Gardening Accessories, definitely a must if you got the garden. They retail at $20. Comes with a floral print apron, a straw hat, and gardening gloves.
Now we are up to the BIG sets.
Blaire's Party Decor, retails at $85.
It's a little pricey considering I don't think most of what it comes with would be particularly useful. The arbor with the flower decorations and orchid curtains would only be useful for a Blaire or Party themed photo shoot. The three tier cake is probably the best part. It can become a one, two, or three tier cake and has 3 different cake toppers. It also comes with 2 cake slices to serve on "love" plates. There's a bronze cake stand, matching cake servse and 2 forks. The table has a purple tablecloth that can be taken off, therefore the table could be used for anything. There's also a bouquet of flowers, heart shaped notebook and wish vase.
On to Blaire's Family Farm Restaurant, which retails at $300.
It comes with a lot of cute stuff, but I'd rather DIY one considering the price.
And finally.... Blaire Wilson herself!
Her red hair and green eyes are gorgeous, and we might just have to DIY a bumblebee dress and bandanna bracelet!
Now for the scoop: What would we buy?
Item | Reg. Price | 50%
Blaire's Accessories | $30 | $15
In Bloom Pajamas | $24 | $12
Gardening Outfit | $32 | $16
Bridesmaid Dress |$36 | $18
Blaire's Garden | $50 | $25
If we got just the 3 main items:
Reg.: $30 + $24 + $32 = $86
50% Off: $15 + $12 + $16 = $43
Just the accessories & gardening outfit
Reg: $54 50%: $27
Sales are worth waiting for!
So there you have it. Our review of Blaire's collection. This is Lily Anna, for Lily Reviews!
And me!
